thats a movie you can put on anytime when you're bored and enjoy. It is the best john hughes film and by far has the best parade sequence in any movie.

A very funny film indeed but I don't think it should just relate to people under 20. What about people who throw a sickie to do whatever they want for the day?

I don't know... it's good I'll give it that and I love it to pieces but personally I prefer the magical Labyrinth with Bowie as the Goblin King and Sarah trying to find her brother and Ludo the giant beast...
But I can see how the fact that Ferris is such an epitome of the 80s it reminds us of the whole era we grew up in.
And the theme "Oh yeah... chigachinga... owh owh... Oh yeah..."

lol - my husband is over 40 and a film buff and its still his favourite feel good movie. So in this house it is just the most excellent film full stop!

Yeah, that was a really cool movie. Many of the scenes were copied in other movies or shows. Family Guy the series have lampooned many scenes from this movie.
