Because they're cheesy, sappy, and unrealistic. I know exactly where you're coming from - I don't like them either!

Because "Love Stories" aren't anything like "Love". Oh maybe in the beginning except the hero doesn't usually try fumbling with the lady's bra in the backseat of his car at 1 in the morning and the cops show up. Does the hero go off to work at the factory while the lady juggles a kid on her hip while doing the laundry and getting the other kid on the school bus? Does the hero come home drunk on Friday, scratching his testicles as he walks in the door and then falls asleep on the couch snoring enough to wake up the baby? Yeah..the one you finally put down after the kid was crying and messed his diaper twice?
Naw...what kind of story would that make?

Cause they are so unrealistic and stupid. They have the "love at first sight" crap, and that "two people are destined for eachother". However much these may be true, the stories are retarded. They say love at first sight, but the man is usually flaw filled (but of course, he has the perfect chest and arms and abs and teeth, which may have helped with the "love at first sight"; not to mention his taut round buttocks) and the woman completely spineless damsel in distress. In other words, two flaky people fall into a love so strong that it works without effort. Wrong! While the notion of a woman changing a man through love is romantic, it is also nonexistent. Nor do to incredibly sexy flaky people without an ounce of depth in their struggles magically make a relationship work. I've read the crap and its just hot people making problems for themselves. So annoying.

possibly because you have been hurt in some way and have lost your taste for love. when you see, hear, think or even smell the stuff you get disgusted because you don't think it is possible.
there are a lot of people that are like that. it could also be because you haven't had the chance to really experience it.

maybe because your looking for that special some one and its taking a little longer than you planned,so to watch what you want and are not getting would make me dislike love storys myself .hope this was helpfull. taunya
