You need to tell her before the news gets around to her. Maybe you could get together for lunch and you can tell her that you wanted to let her know the good news because she is your best friend and you want her to be a big part of your child's life.

It took me 3 years to fall pregnant (i am 11 weeks now) and in that time that happened to me a number of times. I was always happy for my pregnant friends and sister as i knew how hard it can be to fall pregnant sometimes.
She might have a cry but just be there to give her a hug if she does.

My best friend and I were in the same situation several years ago. I dont think that she will believe you are being insensitive if you tell her. I think she will share your joy. Sometimes, if we feel that it is our destiny to be parents, and we cant have children, its a sign that we were meant for another path, such as adoption. Thats what I did.

One of my good friends can't have children and she stopped talking to me when my son turned 2 years old. She said that she couldn't handle it anymore. With that being said, tell your friend gently (don't throw it in her face) and depending on her reaction reassure her by saying "the doctor are doing tests on you, keep trying and relax etc... There is no 'good' way to tell her, unfortunately.

I don't understand your question.
Just tell her! It's not hard, is it?
If your friend can't have children--who cares? That's not your problem, and it's not your fault. You shouldn't feel bad that she can't have kids and keep your pregnancy a secret from your best friend. She will find out sooner or later.
Just tell her. It's not like she'll be mad, or anything else.
