I was in a car accident 3.5 years ago and broke half of my body
left femur, and tibia, lost 2 ligaments in my left knee, crushed my upper left arm, broke my hip, and crushed my pelvis in 4 places, had a broken finger, lost nerve function in left hand, and had a gash at the back of my head.
my vehicle drifted off the road hit a telephone pole, ran into a ditch and caught on fire, i was trapped and it took rescue squad 45 minutes to get me out, i was unconscious and basically dead at the scene, and was heliported to stanford hospital, and woke up a week later in ICU
spend a month in the hospital, and 3 years in recovery with additional sugery that i just had last year on my left leg and knee. I am full of metal rods, plates and screws and have some crazy scars!
I am lucky to be alive! It was the worst and the best thing that happened to me.
(i was not on drugs or drinking, the car was new, i have no seizures, cause of accident is unknown and i do not remember a week of my life)

Dislocated shoulder from a skiing mishap. It was pretty dumb, too. Met a tree and the side of a barn. I do not know what the barn was doing by the ski slope. I guess it is where they keep the snow plow. My injury did not heal right and it will occasionally bother me right now.

A spike went thru my right hand. The moving truck was lifting the door & being 5 I stupidly put my hand where the spike comes down. I think I was obsessed with the whole crucifix thing....my parents were fanatics!

Cut my knee so bad I could see the bone. I was outside playing and cut my leg on under pinning. You know that stuff they would to put around trailers. I was sitting near a bunch of it and I moved and sliced my leg on it. NASTY! I have a scar still from it.

When I was 10, I fell off my bike and it landed on top of me, and the kickstand went through my leg!! OUCH!!!
