Not as obvious. But I'd pick Detroit, simply on the basis of their won-lost record. They don't have too many veterans, either.
Best all-around team: You can't overlook the Yankees. Some would prefer the Mets, but the Yankees are on their way up, and they're getting key players back
Best veteran team: Well, you didn't say those 3 teams couldn't be repeated. The Yankees, essentially, have a veteran lineup. despite the presence of Cano, Wang, Cabrera.
HOWEVER, if you want 3 different teams, then I'd insert St. Louis as the best veteran team.
