People who know me and people who are just getting to know seem to think that I am a beautiful person. I know that has nothing to do with looks. Although, some people who haven't gotten to know and have only seen my pictures say that I am beautiful. I know that I don't fit the general definition of beautiful, so what definition could they be using.

True beauty comes from within. You can see it in someone's smile if they are truly a nice person. It may be physical looks that attract someone... but it is the beauty within the person that makes someone want to stay with them. You may be drop down gogeous on the outside, but if you are a mean/evil person on the inside... it shows to others who meet you. I believe you can see the beauty of someone by truly looking at their eyes... after all, the eyes are the windows to the soul are they not? It's kinda like that movie, Shallow Hal... he was given the gift to see people how they really are... and the good hearted people all were beautiful... even if they weren't physically. Whereas, the people that others would consider physically beautiful... weren't in his eyes because he could see the evil in their souls. Good question.

possibly that you have a beautiful soul. I am quite often told that I am beautiful and I am not so sure it is in the conventional way seeing as I am a big girl i wear a size 18/20..although I will say I have a pretty face and am fashionable and take good care of myself.. but to answer your question my definition of beautiful is someone who makes me feel good to just be around. Someone who you can turn to for anything and will make it be ok, and someone who is your bestfriend...i always say that being beautiful is a state of mind

Most people only care about looks and don't care about getting to know you Then those the ones who don't know the real true meaning about beautiful. It's not all about looks it goes much more fattier than that. Its about reallying getting to know that person and seeing who they really is and that's when you see that true beautiful person.

Its not all about looks. Its how you carry yourself and handle day to day life. People who are negative and pessimistic are ugly inside. People who are optimistic are beautiful inside.
