I am going to start boxing again and need to lose about 40 pounds. I lift weights for 2 hours and run 1 mile 3 times a week. I also do 2 hours of boxing drills twice a week. It has been 2 weeks and I am taking a product called Xedraless and eating healthy but have only lost about 5 pounds. Is there more to do or am I just expecting results to soon.

Weight loss pills are widely advertised as quick method to lose weight. These are food supplements and are not regulated by the FDA or any authority. Some weight loss pills may help you lose weight for a short time, but after a month or so, the body becomes immune to them.

Youre overtraining with the weights cut it down to 45 minute sessions. Youre turning your body catabolic and you want to be anabolic. 5 pounds in 2 weeks is perfect. You lose any more than 2 pounds a week and you are losing muscle. You want to keep as much muscle as possible since it is the best fat burner there is. Cut back on the weights and maybe eat a little more so you don't burn out. But eat clean and once a week have a cheat day to trick your systems metabolism so it dont adjust to your demands and drink lots of water and eat your essential fatty acids. I could go on all day. Also keep your protein intake high.

i assume your weight loss is body fat percentage, and not measured on a scale, cause of course you are gaining muscle mass which weighs more than fat. There are all kinds of fat burning pills and stuff in muscle stores, im sure your trainer or gym guy could recommend a half dozen for you.

you have to eat less or that stuff won't work. Eat more lean proteins and get your carbs from fruits and veggies and whole grains like Oatmeal. Hoodia is another similar pill - with natural caffeine. These pills aren't what make you lose though...it's the appetite suppressant and the caffeine that make you feel like you do.
