get an internship with a management or record company or talent agency. If you know someone it is a whole lot easier.

if you're in college it's easy, get an internship... once there make sure they know you, make sure people know that you work hard and don't complain. People will either hire you or give you very good references

best way...probably go to hollywood/LA and meet as many people as possible. Connections get you into that industry.
