No, I don't think they are the same... and I don't think liberals side with them..

I think your logic is off... just because a liberal is against George Bush or the Iraq War, and George Bush is against terrorists and so is the war (supposedly), that doesn't mean that liberals are then for terrorists.

A is against B
B is against C
It cannot be determined from this information where A stands against C... there is no logical conclusion that can be made.

You assume too much. We have nothing to fear when Bush is here. The timing of the London arrests was rigged: These terrorists (if the arrests hold up ) proved to be on Bush's side, he and Blair need a major distraction from the global critisism mounting over Israels outlaw behavior.

LONDON - NBC News has learned that U.S. and British authorities had a significant disagreement over when to move in on the suspects in the alleged plot to bring down trans-Atlantic airliners bound for the United States.

A senior British official knowledgeable about the case said British police were planning to continue to run surveillance for at least another week to try to obtain more evidence, while American officials pressured them to arrest the suspects sooner. The official spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the case.

In contrast to previous reports, the official suggested an attack was not imminent, saying the suspects had not yet purchased any airline tickets. In fact, some did not even have passports.

I do not think they do. But the answer to terrorism is not extermination or force. A case in point is Iraq. You kill one "terrorist" and then his brother or whatever joins the terrorists to seek revenge. This hast cost America the death 2600+soldeiers and over 400billion( if you include other costs, it will cost 4 trillion by the time it is over)

You have to find the reasons for terrorism and work on them. #1 America needs a better balanced policy in the middle east.# 2 it needs to withdraw from Iraq.# 3 it needs to tone things down regarding Iran and use proper diplomacy.

I think there is a difference between a liberal and a terrorist. Not that I am one of either, but it's just offensive to compare someone's political views with radical violence.

terrorists are violent offenders bent on killing US citizens and westerners wherever they can. Liberals are the self-hating cheer-leaders afraid to do anything themselves but cheering for the violent terrorists, hoping that people defending our country (something they will never do defend our country) lose to hide the inferiority at not being as good or as loyal as the defenders.

Name one mainstream liberal who sides with a terrorist. Do you mean Ronald Reagan, who armed and trained Osama Bin Laden? Oh, wait, Reagan wasn't that liberal.

Stop regurgitating Fox News trash and start thinking for yourself.

Substitute Conservative for the word liberal and That pretty much sounds like something a liberal would ask. Guess their are morons on both sides of the fence.

Yes...there is a big difference. Terrorists are bend on destroying you physically. Liberals are bent on destroying us due to the fact that they only promote symbolism, not substance.

Whooa! The king of generalisations!

liberalism means knowing every situation has at least two sides that are worthy of examination.

Ultra-conservatism, such as displayed by your good banjo-plucking self, means tunnel vision, greed, ignoring or dominating others especially if they're of different ethnicity or income.
