i am trying to save a video that i am watching on mlb.com on demand video, but when i right click there is no icon to save the video or target. i think mlb doesn't want you to save it, but is there any way that i can by-pass that and save it to my computer?

if you're using firefox (which you should be anyways - go download it and thank me later) you can get one of these extensions:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2584/
they will both add a small icon to the bottom status bar, which when clicked will let you download videos from ANY page you're currently on.
internet explorer does not support plugins, so it is not easy to download videos within web pages.

As far as I know, there is no way to save videos off of MLB.com or MLB.tv. You can buy individual games.

Most common videos on streaming are allocated on mms or rstp servers
Need a mms rstp software to download the video with a url search.

attempt to reboot your laptop if nevertheless no longer operating you want to reinstall internet explorer or i opt to apply Firefox or Opera those classes are defentitly extra effective than ie and they have extra recommendations than ie. good success :)
