If you put the disc in the computer and it runs, then yes, it is fine to play with a scratch on it. Keep in mind, though, that the game might freeze in the middle of playing if the computer can't read the disc properly. In this case, press ctrl-alt-del on your keyboard and close the program.

You really can't play any games with a scratch on it. My suggestion would be, if it doesn't run. Download the free trial of Sims Online and then if it still duzn't work after that, than buy a new sims.

YOu could try bufing it out also!

My Sims disc is scratched but it still plays. Sometimes i clean it with window cleaner and it might help it a bit, in case dust has settled in the scratch.
It really depends how bad the scratch is. Try it in your computer - it wont harm it. It just wont load in if the scratch is too deep.

Yes just make sure the rest of the cd is clean. The scratch may not be located where it can cause harm. Try to install it. If it installs you have a good shot of playing it.

It depends on the scratch. Try doing it. If it works, yes. If not, No.

It depends on if the scratch is really bad. If it is, probably not, but if it's a small scracth, you might be able to. Try it and see!
