I assume you are relating to the car, and not the skirt.
I remember visiting the showroom with my dad when the mini was first announced in about 1965. It was designed to be small and efficient, and at the time contained many revolutionary aspects, such as front wheel drive and transposed engine, and of course the small size. It soon became the Mini Cooper, and was used by all sorts of enthusiasts for racing and rallying. So it is designed for anyone and everyone from the lady shopper to a small family to the young new driver to the motor sports enthusiast, or even grandma.
