hey i have a probe and it won't go into gear. my rpm's raise up. i know my clutch didn't go out because i can put it into gear it just won't go anywhere. anyone have any idea what's wrong?

sounds like the sear pin is gone happened to my car had to take the engine out to get at the clutch plate two minute job to fix it but taking out and putting back engine took 4-5 hours hope this helps

it may just need to have some lube inside the tranny.Try that first.i ahve a manual that leaks out the oil and when it gets low,it does the same thing.also you need to make sure it has the right lube some are using like tranny fluid while others still use gear oil.If at one time they switched from gear oil to tranny fluid that is the problem.The other problem is you are a female and alot of people will talk **** and try to screw you.

Your clutch is gone. Whether or not it will go into gear (you say both) has nothing to do with the clutch.

It might not be the clutch at all. It is possible that the transaxle is broken. That is the part that transfers the engine power to the wheels. I believe that is was common with older Ford FWD cars.

If it goes into gear and doesn't move than the center plate of your clutch disk has been blown out.
You will need a new clucth..

sounds just like the clutch is bad or the transmission is broken
