Well, obviously if the only thing you eat all day all the time is apples you're not getting the proper nutrition you need and will eventually die of malnutrition.
But its not as though suddenly changing to healthy food after eating pizza and burgers all your life will shock your system to death.
If you eat a balanced diet of healthy food (excluding accidents from poisoning or something) it couldn't cause you to die.

You would have to determine what a healthy diet consists of by whoever is promoting it. Things seem to change all the time depending on who the experts happen to be and their experiments. Everyone is different and requires different amounts or no amounts of certain foods. I am just waiting for the day when somebody decides that hot fudge sundaes are healthy....maybe a long wait, huh.

yeah, there have been plenty of deaths related to an excellent diet filled with fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Research is showing that this type of diet can lead to acute leukemia, rare and virulent cancers, and sudden death from heart failure.
