Recently me and my girlfriend had a baby daughter,she is now 4 days old and we are yet to decide a name for her.
i love the name Fria and miriam loves the name Jeyda.
Her surname will be wishes after mine which has been the centre of many jokes since i was a kid.So we are having a good think
she is so peaceful and very smiley.

Oh blessings on you... and also for being such thoughful parents and considering the ramifications of the importance of a name coupled with your surname. I actually adore the name Freya (who is the Goddess of Love in Norse Mythology) its not quite Fria but I prefer to that to Jeyda, (reminds of Jeyes fluid - sorry).

Think how she is going to feel about her name when she is older; I have a 72-year-old friend called Candy-Sue.............and try putting the christian name with the surname- Fria Wishes doesnt sound too hot fo a little schoolgirl, does it. How about Rose, or Lauren, or Grace. I pity all the poor little Kylies and Beyonces, and Britneys.... how about being called Britney Ferris???

Fria is a better name in my book Jeyda is too common nowadays...I remember when I knew 5 heathers and 7 julies and 10 jamies....& I can't tell you how many kaitlynns there are in daycare.
My husband named our son Craig (it is his middle name). People can't believe that it is so normal....
Fria is interesting and refreshing. It has my vote
but then again....ask her which she would prefer....(lol)

Any name will do for her, but where is your question? Do you want names to think of or do you want people to pic from your ones, i chose Miriam because i have a female friend called that and she is nice in every possible way.. Good luck for the future name picking.

many congrats on the birth of ur daughter....
a name is to last a lifetime so decide carefully...
u and ur lady will have to work this one out for urselves..no one can decide wot u should call her.
u have to take in her appearance and character too when deciding.
both the names u mentioned are beautiful...why not combine them and then u both have made a combined effort in her title...

Jeyda. My daughter's name is Jayda. =) Today is her birthday...in about 9 minutes she'll be five! Dang! Five years ago at this very moment in time I was in the delivery room having my baby!
