It depends on what you read. Although I like Hotel California, some list Stairway to Heaven as numero uno. Is it based on sales, weeks at number one spot or personal preference? If it is sales, then Bing Crosby's White Christmas should be number one. Go figure...

I think VH1 might have a list devoted to this topic; they had a show a while back. Here's a link to their list:
