so you are getting married and you dont want anyone to know...???
just do it at a court house and dont talk about it! why are people gonna go snooping around looking for something if your not talking about it. Just ask the judge to make sure the press cant release it!

I think the question here is whether your marriage records can be sealed from the public as confidential. Marriage records are, normally, a matter of public record. However, you can request the court to seal the marriage records from the public, but there must be a very good reason for doing so, as privacy concerns are not enough (i.e., fear of threats, etc.).

Marriage (as a legal status) is a public record. I don't think that any states allow the existence of a legal marriage to be sealed, except in extraordinary circumstances.

If you mean, confidential communications between married spouses being privileged, all US states recognize some variant of that evidentiary rule.
