My friend and I are starting an enviromental club and what are some ideas and projects that we can do around school. I have already researched the internet and looked for different ways but what I really need is a way to keep high schoolers attention and was to get some involved.. Please I'll take any suggestions I really appretiate it.

propose a "recycling" day. provide each homeroom or specify class period with a box only for recycling. the class whose box is filled the most gets a prize (free nutrition break snack, a pizza, etc.).
have "beware of uv rays" day. pass out sunscreen samples or propose it the day that everyone wears sunglasses, hats, etc.
plant trees or small plants around the campus

Plant a garden of natural vegetables using Hyponics. No commercial pesticides only natural organisms - like lady bugs - to control pest and funguses.
Experiment with Wind and Solar technology to make electricity and use Solar power to collect water from the air.
