when i went into sixth grade i wore a skirt with a matching crop top with a cami under then i wore the same outfit the last day of course i HAD to wear a skirt and i do this year too but it was totally kool

Okay so, first of all I know that I am a guy so you won't take me seriously but.
I think you should really look at something that makes a good first impression, and I completly understand (and am a firm believer) that you should err on the side of over-dress then looking like you just fell off a truck. But this is a fine line to walk, you don't want to look like a bum, but you don't want to look high-maintenece and look fake.

Wear something you're confortable in and cute. And always remember that it's better to be over-dressed than under-dressed
