Actually, I believe you should go after alcohol first. Have you seen statistics on smoking-related auto accidents? I have not, but I have seen many statistics on alcohol related accidents. I won't argue that long-term exposure to second-hand smoke is harmful, but excessive consumption of alcohol can cause accidents that can result in multiple deaths instantly.

I had to light up a cigarette to clear my head enough to answer this question. I don't think I could support an outright ban considering I made the decision to smoke and that holds true with everyone, however when I wasn't a smoke I understood that second hand smoke isn't fair. Regulations have been passed to protect nonsmokers and I don't feel like my rights are impeded upon because what I do effects the health of others. So I will smoke in my own home and respect nonsmokers as long as they leave me alone......JJ

sure, when you ban the billions of cars, trucks buses, motorcycles. Plus all of the factories from blowing out smoke, then ban the aerosol cans from every home, then ban the perfume, Cologne, and all of the air fresheners that put crap into the air, and then ban the airlines from dumping excess fuel before they land. get all this done, sure I'll join ya, until then leave the smokers alone, Quit believing the idiots, who can't even make up their minds if eggs are good for you, let alone put the TRILLIONS of dollars to work the people everywhere have contributed for research for the deadly diseases.
