If you are looking for quotes about reading here are two of my favorites:

1) “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” Margaret Fuller
Margaret Fuller was a 19th c. writer. She was part of the New England circle of Transcendentalists ( Emerson, Thoreau, etc.) and became one of the first political feminist in America
2) “We read to know we are not alone.” C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis is the British author who wrote the Chronicles of Narnia.

all places are filled with fools, cicero. It means that all people are learning at all stages in their lives. The greatest way to obtain knowledge is through reading. Does that inspire you.

You could start by saying that as your topic was 'inspiration', you hunted for quotations which mention this elusive quality.

Thomas Alva Edison, inventor, stated that, "Genius is one per cent inspiration and ninety-nine per cent perspiration. " At least he admitted that you have to be inspired before you perspire.

Willy Wonka, however, stated that, "Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple."
