It's an honest question, and I wonder why liberals consider themselves to be brilliant and nature lovers when they aren't satisfied that nature gave them two testes or two ovaries.

Because the Democratic party seems to welcome and represent anybody who wills to display a direct afront to God and all that is traditional and/or holy. I know there are a few Godly people still calling themselves Democrats, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out why. When I ask them their views, they sure sound Republican to me. Maybe it's their ignorance of the Democratic platform. Maybe it's something sentimental in a whacked-out sort of way.
I put out a similar question about why Jews (in general) tend to vote Democratic when most liberals seem to be anti-Israel.
