I think you're chances are 50/50 also. I miscarried at 13 weeks and had to have a d&c. Because of the d&c, I had a hard time carrying again. My uterus needed time to thicken and heal so it made it hard for the embryo's to stay attached. I also know that once you have 1 miscarriage, your chances increase on having another. But try not to worry, be positive, and throw in a prayer. Good Luck & Congratulations

I can definatly answer this question!! your chances of having a normal pregnancy 3 months later is 100% positive. I know this because I got pregnant in sept of 2005 and miscarried at 7 weeks, I was completely depressed about it but found out I was pregnant again 3 months later, I was ecstatic but SO SCARED that I would lose the baby again. I didn't get comfortable w/my pregnancy until I was about 5 months and even then I still worried once in awhile, but my doc says everything is great the baby looks really healthy has a strong heartbeat and she really kicks the crap out of me sometimes!!! I am now 33 weeks pregnant. I know it's easier said then done but relax take prenatals and drink lots of water I gurantee everything will be alright! Miscarriages usually happen because something didn't form right in the baby and if he/she were to be born they probably wouldn't be able to survive so it's your bodies way of eliminating the problem. I'm sure though that this time everything matched up right and all should be well. Usually when women have repeat miscarriages it is because they have something wrong w/them hormonally and their body cannot hold the pregnancy, but if your doc said the last mis was just bad luck or couldn't give you a real reason then dont worry. Good luck and I hope I helped :)

I did. I miscarried at 11 weeks, and then got pregnant again 4 months later. I had a beautiful daughter, who was not only full term, but post-term... that kid wanted to stay in there forever! Miscarriages are usually just a fluke thing... they are emotionally painful and take time getting over, and then chances are that the next pregnancy will go full term. However, if you have more than 3 miscarriages, your doctor will perform some tests to see if you have a genetic condition that may be contributing to the miscarriages. I have gone on to have a total of 4 pregnancies; two miscarriages and two beautiful children. Good luck and congrats!

i had a miscarriage about a year after I had my daughter the miscarriage was 10 weeks. I got pregnant 2 months after that and had a healthy boy 8 weeks ago. I can tell you it is on your mind all the time (miscarriage that is) Every little thing worried me that I was going to have another one. It didn't quit till about 25 weeks even though I knew I was in the safe zone I felt like I could be the one of the few who have late term miscarriage. My advice is to just enjoy being pregnant and good luck to you!

I even have had 2 previous miscarriages and function went directly to have a third wholesome being pregnant (presently 38 weeks) so it relatively is no longer impossible to have a wholesome being pregnant after miscarriages. additionally, your thoughts are very regular and that i felt a similar way when I suffered miscarriages (jointly with thinking - how come she gets pregnant so actual and that i cant) and those thoughts are very organic. What i'd advise notwithstanding is which you have your well-being investigated, as on occasion women persons can strengthen circumstances throughout being pregnant that would impression her pregnancies, so i advise you ask your generic practitioner for some blood tests. I only found out final week that i had an inclination to strengthen a situation throughout being pregnant that affected my being pregnant and that i purely wanted i had insisted on having sorting out so as that i will have generic the thank you to have had a fit being pregnant (thankfully my toddler seems to be wholesome).

Every pregnancy is different first and foremost. As long as you dont have a long standing problem that has caused the miscarriage and the potential for others. Just make sure with your doctor that nothing physical is stopping you from carrying to term. If the doctor says everything is okay then you should have no problems.
Go to the doc and Good Luck :-)

a miscarriage that occurs in the first 12 weeks is USUALLY because of an implantation problem OR a physical or neurological problem with the fetus. chances are good that it was a one time occurrence... but ask your doctor for the facts.
