Just accept the rejection, and move on. Be pleasant because that is part of your personality. Just say, ok, no problem smile and walk away. Other friendships will open up for you...don't stress over it! Have a great day!

You ask her directly (vs. the other friend).
If it is true, then you simply treat her as an acquaintance. There's no point
in being mean, nice anything ... just like anyone else.
Do not, however, just go by your friend's words. It is possible she has a
hidden agenda.

Be nice to her and treat her like you would treat any other human being. But you don't have to treat her like you are buddies or like you would treat a true friend. Just general kindness/politeness will suffice.

doesnt matter. if she doesnt want to b ur friend u just wont talk. and if u do, check how her attitude is first. if she says "hello" and she's nice b nice back. u dont want to come off as a b*tch. so just see how it is...& sorry to hear that happened.
