First, waiting longer to have sex is never a bad idea. But if you want to have sex, fine. Go to planned parenthood with your boyfriend, learn how to use a condom properly.
The pill (used correctly) is over 99% effective alone, a condom (used correctly) is over 99% effective alone. The odds of those two failing at the same time, combine with the chance that you would even get pregnant are next to none.
Is it possible? yes. So is a plane crashing into your house.
Take your time, don't rush it, make sure you talk about it with your boyfriend and enjoy yourself!!

Wo girly. If ur panicing like that your not ready. Just use a condom and relax. I think maybe ur just very excited. Your getting older, growing up, expierencing sexual feelings. Thats all good stuff. If ur on the pill just use a condom ALWAYS. and if u still panic of being pregnant take a test. N wen ur not pregnant ull feel better. Always use protection!! Good luck

You are 17 and way too young to have sex...wait till you are married

Since you are EXTREMELY worried about being pregnant, DO NOT HAVE SEX AT ALL and then you won't have to worry about that burden.

Finish high school, go to college and make something of your life...you will be glad you did.

The bottom line.... no matter how safe you are, accidents can still happen. The ONLY surefire way to keep from getting pregnant is avoiding sex altogether. Any other way, and you are taking a chance. My friend (we are much older than you) just had a baby that was conceived while she was on the pill. It happens- nothing but abstinence is foolproof.

Nothing is 100% -- Nothing. My daughter was on the pill (and never missed one) and she & her husband now have 3 wonderful kids. If you are panicing - you are NOT ready. It sounds like he is pushing the issue and you just don't want to say no. You have to think this through and do what is right for you - not him.

There's always a chance even with the most protection. Maybe you're not ready for sex. And if you're freaking out, it will ruin the experience anyway

You don't sound mature enough to have sex--no offense. Besides, people get pregnant all the time with protection and also get diseases. Look, you should wait until you're married anyway. It's a sin to have sex before marriage.
