I would start trying soon, depending on how long it took you to get pregnant the first time. I want to have mine no more than 3.5 years apart, but it is personal preference. I found that my brother and I were closer (3 years apart) than the youngest (8 years younger than me). I would say shoot for being pregnant by the time your baby is 24 months.

if i were u, i would wait until your 15mth old is out of her terrible twos.. soo I would say around 2.5 3 years old. Plus around 3 they start getting more independent.. so they would need so much attention, and feel left out when u are feeding the new baby, or washing her/him, or just playing with the new baby... but whenever u do. just make sure u make time for the 1st child.

there is never really a set age at which you should then have another child it is a case of making sure that you feel you could cope with a demeading toddler while you are pregnant and if you can contend with a newborn and a toddler.
you also have to make sure that you don't exclude the toddler as it may start to resent the newborn, i suggest you try to get it involved with things like bum changing and playing get them to pass you the things you need, when you start feeding the younger allow the older to offer a spoon or two.
i had a new born and my best mate had a 21month old at the time they were always together and my mates daugter loved playing with my son and helping me do things with him and now he's a yr old and follows her everywhere as though showing him the ropes! lol
if you're ready go for it but make sure you have the help you need around you coz two children is alot of hard work!

good luck

Wait until your first is in school even for just half a day. This way you will be able to relax (somewhat) during the pregnancy, and when the baby comes you will get some alone bonding time with it.

Good luck
