Go for the classical helix. It's one of those "accepted-by-society, but-yet-uncommon" piercings that don't stick out like a sore thumb. A standard captured ball ring looks nice, although I'm sure a stud will look good as well.

As to the person who said it'd look trashy when you become 30... I'm almost 30, and got my helix not but a few months ago, and it looks just as sweet as if I got it at 16.

I would definitely go with daith, it's cute, not a lot of people have it, and it's discrete when you want it to be.

On the other hand, if you like something a bit more obvious, daring and in the open, I'd recommend you get an industrial, which is a VERY cool piercing.

Good luck and happy piercing!

Just go with the helix- the top of the ear. A ring will look a little more punky... so I guess that leaves you with a stud, which, of course, can be as girly as you want, depending on the stud.

Don't; you'll regret it later. What seems cute and cool at 18, looks ugly and trashy at 30. Truly.
