I had one depo shot. It took me a while to get my period back... but then again some how I managed to get pregnant... a faulty shot or something? Anywayz... I lost the babies... and the doctor decided to put me on birth control to regulate my period. I was put on Ortho (the patch). It worked... a week and a half later I started my period... and it was normal. I suggest getting on a form of birth control that will get your period regulated... especially if you want a baby asap. Good luck!!

I was just sitting on my obstetrician's table today reading the Depo poster. It says its effects are reversible. So, your doctor can administer the meds to reverse the occurance in your blood that prohibits pregnancy. I think the shot lasts only 3 months, but like I said, right there on the poster in bold print it said it was REVERSIBLE. Best wishes on the baby making!!! Yay!

Ask your doctor, but I think they are only meant to work as protection for about 3 months. Keep trying!!
