He thinks it might be something to do with Java because we've tried playing games through msn messenger and it hasn't worked at my end. Do I need to download something?

yh msn once you refer to somebody underneth your reveal image there's a splash image of a webcam (in case you have it plugged in and it relatively is no longer allreaddy on yet another application) then click on it and it will deliver a request to the guy your speaking to then in the event that they settle for they might see you if the do no longer settle for then they dnt wanna be on webcam

I was gonna go for a stupid smart **** answer but the first one is really stupid and she's a smart ****. So no use competing.
So I reckon (based on the facts supplied) it's got something to do with Java.

are you both on broadband ?
it may not be a fast enough connection (had this before)
check firewall settings allow msn messenger (had this too)

Can be your pc it happened to me and my freind and it was a bad connection on her pc
