What do you wear to a wedding that is in May, in the evening and at the bride's mothers house??

Wear a dressy dress,.. something with a light flirty skirt, but not tooo formal. Light colors are good for spring or summer.

Wear a summer dress, spaghetti strap dress either with flowers printed on the dress or something with plain pastel colors like light/baby pink, sky blue, light apple green, something like that or even ivory or white dress..its simple, summer looking, comfortable and i guess it won't be that expensive to buy.

Casual dress is not an option (i.e. do not wear jeans and tank top, or shorts and t-shirt). People who dress that casually do not present themselves as bringing the proper honour and respect to such a special occasion. I suggest you wear a skirt and top or dress, or if you are not into that, perhaps a nice pair of slacks and blouse. You don't want to overdress and bring attention to yourself, but then again, you don't want to underdress and bring attention to yourself. Have fun!

Anything other than black or white/off white and nothing that wil upstage the bride, it is supposed to be her day. Have fun!

i would wear a flowy pink skirt with a simple white(or a different color) tee with a cardigan on it and a golden belt wrapped around the shirt with some gold strappy heals.

Depends on the other guests, but you can never go TOO wrong with a simple cocktail dress. Just stay away from black or white. Remember, it's not about you...
