Not enough fuel appearantly. Clogged fuel system. Replace the fuel filter. Should fix it. If you feed it and it runs and dies when you stop, there is a fuel problem. It's possible that it's the maf sensor but very likely that the system has "trash" in it. Good luck. Oh, before starting, try 2 bottles of Heat. Could be water in the fuel. Sorry missed that. Good luck.

You need to see if you are getting "pulse" to the fuel injector(s). Remove injector connector and put a low amperage test light between the terminals. Have an assistant crank the engine. The light should blink on and off. If it doesn't, ground the test light and see if one of the injector terminals has power to it. The injector should have power all the time: the computer operates it by grounding the other terminal. If the light pulses and the injector puts out no fuel, you have a bad injector or a wide open fuel pressure regulator.
Otherwise:
Some GM stuff used 2 sensors in the distributor: one for the spark, one for the fuel injection. Distributorless systems sometimes do this also, having 2 crank sensors as well as a cam sensor. assuming good wiring, your problem will be either in the computer itself, one of these sensors, or the ignition module. The module could be providing a coil signal, but not returning a signal to the computer. You know at least one crank sensor is working because the engine runs with gas poured into it. It therefore must have spark.

idle air control stuck wide open. fuel to the port in intake ??? do you mean you have fuel pressure ??? do the injectors work, do you see fuel coming out of the injectors as you crank the engine over ??? is your fuel regulator busted and allowing the fuel pressure to never build up. when fuel is coming out of an injector it should have a pattern like a shower head. even all the way around
