get a bag of dog poo and put it in someone's car. hide it in a spot where they can't see it, and after a while, it will start to really smell, but they don't know where it's coming from.

have you tried putting confetti or torn up Kleenex of top of the ceiling fan? Put it on and when they turn it on, it looks like like snow or a celebration. Your celebration for getting them.lol.
