No. I've used them and they don't really work. Furthermore, a lot of the "recruiters" on there, are just recruiters from other, lesser known job boards, and you constantly get messages like, "Thank you for sending us your qualifications (blah, blah, blah)...please visit our website to upload your resume...blah, blah, blah." As if I had time for that, I wouldn't have used a blasting service!!

Plus, places like Resume Mailman and Resume Rabbit and the other professional resume writers who use those service will just swear by them to get your money.

Verdict: waste of money.

No. Most of them just send you an automatic reply. I used it and got one good response, and I have a resume with significant experience in my field. If you got a bunch of stuff blasted at you, would you look at it all? Probably not. Recruiters won't either. Use Monster.

no.

You are much better off picking a few targeted businesses where you really want to work and researching the departments and people and writing a precise letter to them with your resume. Those blasting services do nothing but get deleted as spam or get you put on spam lists for junk "opportunities" like selling steak knives door to door.

I seriously regretted it, phone calls from all over, at all hours of the day and night, and most of the positions offereded were not even close to my field of expertise.

no. your best bet is to personally connect with someone who will help you out. try getting to know one of the headhunters and letting them help you. they'll be more willing, after all they are getting paid.
