I don't think so. If it was from Yahoo Staff, there would be a green staff member sign (I've seen this before when they have posted real posts).

Also, the "blog entry" is not a blog entry about that topic.

Sounds like a joke to freak people out. (And, it explains why I've seen other people post questions in the past about Yahoo shutting down). You may want to report abuse.

Edit: Here is the link to the question I saw w/ the green staff sign. However, you can't see it now since it's in voting (they make everyone anonymous...but it's Answerer #2). Once it's resolved, you can see it.

Edit: I just checked this user out. He/she has posted the same "question" 5 times...and, it's not even a question, so it would be violating guidelines...yet another reason why someone from Yahoo wouldn't post. Not to mention that they would use the blog as a way to notify users of changes, not the polls & surveys.
