So you know this guy, 28,...He's tall, from an affluent family, and good looking to some. This guy give advice, but really the advice is to his benefit. If you call this guy out about lying to you, he denies everything and spends less time with you b/c this guy prefers to spend time with people he can manipulate and won't give him a hard time. Before this guy asks for a favor from someone, this guy'll butter a friend up with a "favor" or invite them out, so that the friend will feel guilty about saying no. When you're doing well in life, this guy will try to bring you down with subtle insults. This guy also talks a lot of dirt about you to his friends, so that you'll have a hard time making friends besides him. He'll always deny it, tho. When an arguement ensues and you want to walk away he'll grab your arm to stop you and just won't let go.

I know a friend like this. Any ideas how this guy's personality will be in the future or what his relationships will be like?

You will either be visiting him in prison or at his HUGE desk in his office as Governor, President, or other similar office...

Sad but true, because some people really do get places by manipulating others in the worst way. Some others get to respected high places by manipulating people in a good way, such as musicians, artists, or healers...

Get AWAY from this "friend" and STAY AWAY unless you feel that you have something to gain from hanging around him, which makes you more like him than you'd care to admit...

:)

There are three sides to any story, of course....his, hers, and the truth. Based on what you have said here.....if at least some of it is true and he continues down this road, I think he will continue to have friends but never a friend or friends that really like him. When all is said and done in life, if someone or others have really liked you, this is one of the measures of if you were a good person.

Well, he won't have a lasting marriage, but he'll probably have good looking
girl friends and a series of Ex-s that hate him.

He may end up painting himself into a corner and get arrested for some
sort of white-collar crime, thinking that he is smarter than everybody else
but forgeting some impossible to explain detail.

I knew a guy like that too, and he's lost every friend and girlfriend he ever had due to his "issues". The only problem is, he continues to make new friends, and starts the cycle anew. Unless your friend wakes up to his being such a d*ck, he's doomed to repeat the same cycle as that guy.

Well, he won't have any long term friends, probably be fired from a few jobs and unmarried (or married to an unhappy wife).

Or he'll just be a monitarily successful sheister salesman somewhere with no firends.

I don't think that he will have very many relationships because people usually do end up realizing that they are being manipulated. He sounds like a real a**. He will probably always be one too unless some life altering situation happens!!!
Good Luck!

Well first off don't marry him! A perfect ideal description of how he will be in the future? Here is my recommendation: Watch the movie "Enough" starring J.Lo, if you already haven't. The husband in the movie sounds like the guy you are describing.

He'll end up an old hermit. He will have no lasting friendships or relationships. People will see right through him eventually and he will lose any friends he has.

If he is already 28, not much will change in his pesonality. He will be like this in some way the rest of his life.
