most of my friends are males because they are very protective when it comes to me and because to me they don't gossip as much as the females the females do they have so much drama going on and i have no time for that.

Most of my friends are female. Now, at 33, I'm married and I tend to be drawn more to my peers that can relate to child rearing and my work. There was a time when I was younger where most of my friends were males. That was long before I was married.

My best friend, as well as a majority of my friends who I consider close friends, are male. I've always had more guy friends, even when I was a little kid.
I just naturally get along with guys better - I don't like all of the drama and the 3-hour-long phone calls that often go along with having girl friends.
It might also be because I have two younger brothers, so I grew up around guys. I dunno...

My closest friends are female, but I have more guy friends and I spend more time with them. I guess I like having my close girlfriends for the more serious friendship stuff, but I just have a lot of fun with the guys.

Mostly male...I work in a male dominated profession. Females are also full of drama. I have two close girlfriends, but the rest are just aquaintances.

I think I have equal numbers of both. There are just some things you'd rather to talk to guys to and things that only other girls would understand.
