That's quite a list.

No real specific response here, but I saw a few Gene Hackman references, and wanted to add a few more titles. Even though "French Connection II" wasn't as good a film as the original, I thought Hackman's performance was every bit as great. The sequence where the bad guys kidnap him and get him hooked on heroin is absolutely harrowing.

And, Hackman was also brilliant in one of my favorite films of the 1970s, Coppola's "The Conversation," also featuring John Cazale.

I agree with a few of your pics. Especially Christian Bale in the machinist and Gael Garcia Bernal. Personally I love Gael, he was wonderful in Motorcycle Diaries, El Crimen del Padre Amaro and Amores Perros too. He's one of the best actors today in my opinion.

The Lion in Winter - Katherine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole are the leads and are amazing. Suppporting cast is Timothy Dalton and Anthony Hopkins just to name a few.

His facial expressions are awesome and he plays every and any role perfectly!
