I was wondering if the chemicals in our inground pool is safe for a guinea pig to swim in as it contains chlorine and other acids etc.

I'm pretty sure your piggie should not be swimming... they are very sensitive to chemicals, I would not put him in chlorine.
If you want to give him the option of going for a paddle, try putting a little water in a shallow tupperware container or something like that. Don't force him in, if he wants to explore then he will :)

Yes the chlorine should do it's skin great maybe even take it right off so you are able to see inside. Don't put him in a chemically treated pool.

yea its safe but don't leave it in to long then put some fresh water on it to wash the chlorine and other acids away when you put it in the pool don't let the eyes touch the water or u could have problems

NOO!!! Rodents (even Guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, etc) DON'T SWIM!!!!!!! Except for the beaver though... which if i'm not wrong is the largest rodent out there.
