To hate requires nothing more then misinformation and a closed mind.

To love requires much more than can ever be listed here.

I agree with brewbeer. Life has ups and downs, and we can never tell what will happen next. If you have a lot of bad things happen to you in a time span, it will be easy to hate the world, but on the other hand, if good things are happening in a time span, is much easier to love..

When you REALLY love someone, loving them is easier because you expend less energy to love them. They make you smile, they spur you on to do better than before, they make you feel good about yourself; which makes life enjoyable and easy.

In order to hate someone, you must constantly feed that hate by continually reminding yourself WHY you hate them, what offense they brought against you, how they hurt you. You subconsiously cause yourself to run into them in the grocery store or the movies just so you can be mad at them all over again, and you make sure to tell everyone who will listen why you hate them as much as you do. It takes an awful lot of work to hate someone. I mean, after all, if you just parted ways with them you wouldn't see them anymore and just forget about them -- and then you would really not love them anymore.

BTW, hate is not the opposite of love. The opposite of love is apathy.

for some people it's easier to hate, because that's all they know.
for alot of people it's easier to love because it just comes easier and more naturaly.
when i was young it was hard for me to love, i just didn't know what it was. but as i grew in age and maturity, i realized that hating burns up the heart and requires too much energy. life is not really as horrible as it can seem. the world may be, but individual life really isn't. love comes more naturaly after you have children and work hard to build a life, and fight every day to be the kind of person you can respect.
love comes very easily with the appreciation of all that you achieve, and knowing you really deserve the love that you receive.

Same degree stressful. One coin. Human love is experience of subjective and human hate is objective. It contains both. To make love objective is an art, required deep and personal understanding of Love itself. Solution is simple but highly difficult to make it. Love should be objective and hate then becomes a subjective quantity.Notice negative side of Love is highly judgmental...Positive side of love is unknown and undefinable, might be recognized only by feelings, which is also is undefinable mentally.Love cannot be judged. First judgment is that famous "only one step" which turning love to hate. Mind is judging, intellect doing nothing but analyzing in many forms, so judging as well. Love do not belong to intellect. Love may embrace mind and intellect for a while, then people fall in love, become literally mindless.. Those who is in love never judge or fear, it is well known. Love gradually fading away when mind and intellect taking over consciousness again.

At times, love and hate can be easy depending on which you experience first or the most. And with a majority of groups involved in one aspect, the easiest becomes predominant because then it makes you want to belong to that, good or bad.

Much easier to hate. You never have to forgive their faults. You never have to consider their wants and needs. Yes, much easier to hate.

For those who are loved, loving is easy, like 2nd nature.
For those whose lives are plagued with fear & jealousy, hatred is easier.
I'm more than glad to give love at all times.
The hatred I've found here on this website is sad, but good
people are here, too and it's true: love is the greatest of all.

Hate is easier, because it doesn't require any effort or understanding, but love is worth the extra effort.

Personally, I find it easier to love.

When you really hate someone, it is an all consuming rage that burns in your gut. It ruins your sleep and makes you angry. Why would you want to feel that way?
