Only a temporary solution - the more you clone from the same source, the less quality you'll have in your copies. It's a bit like photocopying a photocopy!

Watch the movie 'the 6th day' with Arnold Schwarzenegger, the movie examines this idea.

In the movie the memory of an individual is copied and transfered to the clone after death, the clone awakens with an intact memory up to the time that the memory was copied and carry on with their lives as if they were not a clone at all.

In my opinion: No. I'm not into the whole "let's clone stuff!!" thing. People were given one life for a reason, and being able to live forever would just...destroy purpose (I'm religious, so if you aren't, you can ignore this). Why try to do anything if we can live forever?

One problem with cloning is this: We haven't been able to remake animal memories/formed habits, so with the human brain being so much more complex, how could we even begin with it? You wouldn't be yourself even if you did clone yourself. That's just about all I have.

In a way, yes. One could, theoretically, someday have ones brain transplanted into a brand new cloned body. Purely speculative right now but certainly within the realm of possibility in the not so distant future. The ethical questions are, needless to say, huge.

Nope. Cloning would just make you an identical twin, delayed. You don't get to live forever. Sorry.

No, the cloning you see in science fiction is nothing like real cloning.

The only thing cloning does is copy your genes. It doesn't copy your mind, memories, emotions, or anything that is who you are.

no because it's not you it's someTHING not someone that looks exactly like you but you're presence would not be on this earth. You have a soul the clone wouldn't that's why God specifically designed us.

no one really knows yet... we can't clone humans

no, because you would die, and your clone would live and then die and then his would live and die, etc...but your still dead
