There are three places near you to go play poker at. The casinos in lawrenceburg and rising sun have poker rooms in them. Argosy has the best poker room of three casinos near you. It's also the closest to cincinnati They spread limit and no-limit hold'em as well as omaha games. Argosy is in lawrenceburg. If you don't know where it is, just look it up on yahoo yellow pages. They have a nice poker room. You will have to check with them to find out when they will be holding tournaments. They have them pretty often.

I wasn't able to find much. I would check your community press, and the newspaper often, especially since it's August and there are a lot of festivals (mostly the church variety). Another place to look is Cinweekly.com. I've seen bars in the past that have a weekly texas hold 'em tournaments. I haven't been to a bar in a while so I don't know what places specifically, but definitely worth checking into. Hope this helps you some.
