They met in the ring for a boxing match on October 12, 1947.
John Wayne's stunt double got his butt kicked by Trigger... it was quite the fight...

Yes...they met and shaked hands in a Halloween customs party at Republic....

yes they did....there was one movie called "dark command" from 1940....there were probably others
