How often do I call her what? Mom - every time.
Mommy - not for a LONG time.

I call my mother everyday. Sometimes more than once.
I call her the most when I'm feeling sad, don't know what to do, am in despair, when I need strength to go on. I also call her when I need a hug. In these moments I feel like a child who needs a mother's understanding and comfort.
The scary thing is that my mother died in 1990. Don't think I am crazy. Perhaps I should have said that I call her name.
I also remember her when I do things that she taught me to do, when I say things she used to say, when I realize how wise she was despite the fact that she only had a 3rd grade education, when I see how right she was about many things that I as a teenager refused to see.
It's such a pity that we don't fully understand our mothers until we become parents. And when we become grandparents, we will understand so many things that we did not understand as parents. Somehow we will understand that spending time with the children is more important than neglecting them in the pursuit of obtaining material riches.
Maybe we should become grandparents first, and then parents. I know this is impossible.
When she was alive and in full mental capacity, I used to call her almost everyday. Then when I was in my 30's, she developed Alzheimer's disease. Then, I lost the mother I knew.
If she were alive today, I would certainly call her as many times as I could. Life is so short. And you don't know when anyone is going to die.
In the process, don't forget to say "I love you."

Not in a long time. She passed away 22 years ago. Call your mom often while you still have her, guys.

No need to call my mum.My Mum rings me at least 5 times a day.

Sometimes daily... at least a few times a week. Depends on what is going on each of our lives.
