Wacko is a good term for that beady eyed little pip-squeak who is running Iran. And I agree that they are asking for it. However, Israel has a very weak leader in Olmert. It is surfacing now that he held back the military and did not let them do their job. The Israeli Generals are pissed at him. They had a suprise attack planned for their opening salvo that would have ogtten much of the Hezbollah leadership before they had a chance to run and hide in the bunkers and later slip away.

Israel needs Netanyahu back in charge. He doesn't have the same spinal problems Olmert had. It is noteworthy, that unlike previous Israeli leaders, Olmert never was a soldier in their military.

And unfortunately Bush seems to care what the UN thinks. That is an insane thing to do. The UN is anti-semitic and anti-American and headed by a buffoon.

So, apparently everyone is going to wait until Iran has built and used a nuclear weapon before they grow a set and deal with them. This is a replay of the 1930's when everyone danced around Hitler's rise and the building of the German armies. Everyone wanted to negotiate and talk up a little peace. And they thought they had done that until Hitler started rolling across borders. What do you imagine he would have done had he been in possession of nuclear warhead, or a few?

Worse yet is the fact that beady-eyed runt believes that he is going to usher in the return of the 12th Imam who disappeared down a well several hundred years ago and is prophecied to return in a time of chaos and turmoil. The prophecy says that when he returns Islam will conquer the rest of the world and a one-world Islamic state will be created and a new Mahdi will rule over us all.

The world better sober up and deal with this moron BEFORE he completes he nukes.

I don't think so. Even Bush is not that stupid, then again. It would be suicide for either country to do that. Iran has too people and is one of the largest countries in the Middle East. They would fight very hard even though their army is far from superior to the U.S., just ask Saddam. Israel would not attack either. The other Muslim countries would immediately declare war on Israel if that happen. I do agree that they have it coming, but there will be no attack on Iran.

I really think not. We cannot survive politically or acquire the needed expenses to support fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran. And the possibilty of other countries coming to Iran's aid. Remember, Iran has close buddy-buddy ties with North Korea, China, and Russia, not to mention all the other Arab countries.

That would be suicide all around for the United States!

Hopefully not any time soon. The last thing we need is another world war. If Israel or the US attacks Iran, especially with nukes, Russia and China are guarenteed to join the fight and defend Iran (unless Iran is the agressor, but thats another story). If nukes are involved, the entire rest of the world will probably join against whoever used the nukes.

We are already in the process with special ops onthe ground and repositioning of our military forces, not to mention a huige build up of cruise missiles and such...what, you thought we ratched up the national debt because Bush and his friends were somehow stealing it? No, at least some of that money has been spent to get ready to take out Iran. We have learned from all of our errors in Iraq. Iran will be double the effort double the bombing, and we aren't going to be nice this time. That is unless Israel gets them first, which I highly doubt.

Israel is a soft country. They don't like to fight, just like wimpy France. How many times have they tried to cooperate with those mad Arabs? Has it ever worked? I don't think Israel understands that its neighbors are trying to destroy Israel, and not attack it because of some problem.

So Israel might continue fighting Iran and Hezbollah, but not very well. We know who's going to win in the end. This is like a man trying to catch a fly. George Bush, who sticks up for Israel a lot, might involve the USA in the situation, but I see little hope for the Israelites.

I have a feeling Israel will make a "pre-emptive" strike on Iran. They will base this on the precedent we established with Iraq. Israel knows knows that the US has its back so they will make us act one way or another.

Have you ever seen Troy? The seen where Paris runs to Hector's feet begging for his protection is what is going to happen, Israel will bite off more then they can chew and expect us to save them....

i know that the US isnt stupid enough to attack iran right now. no one would support it because of the unpopularity with iraq. i think if anyone were to attack it would be isreal (who wouldnt because they have their own problems now and they couldnt face iran by themselves). i dont think iran would be stupid enough to attack anyone right now anyway. they have big targets on their heads. i think what they will do tho is support terror cells operating in their country to carry out attacks against the US and isreal.
