Since it is likely that their reporting would be more like Pro Bush Propaganda, and they openly support one side, are they legit POW's?

lay off the caffiene. My question speaks for itself. Since they take an active interest by reporting FOR one side and TELLING people to support one side every single day should they be POW's.

It's a bit rich complaining that Hizbollah don't recognise the Geneva Convention when Guantanamo Bay exists.

hey, that's an idea - classify the reporters as enemy combattants, that way you can do anything you like with them

I have heard the same thing....but there is nothing on Fox yet, and how can someone that broadcast from the field do too much propaganda of what is happening....they do not say a missile has landed, it is a friendly missile, and the Israelis are shocked by what Ha mas does to themselves....they report as straight forward as they can.....is there some biased leanings? well, as with all reporters in the field, maybe some....they are not in the studio, with censors from fox and telling them that won't go

Should the BBC be held in Israel for the same reason?

In answer:
Fox doesn't come right out and say it either, they just lead you there. The BBC does the exact same thing. Israel has banned it and are discussing doing it again. I think they're wrong to, but I think this POW question is in the realm of "wrong", but a good talking point.

I don't drink caffeine and you have yet to site where Fox News has TOLD people who to believe in a manner different from other media outlets such as the BBC . Therefore, your question does not speak for itself and may in fact be anti-Fox propoganda. ;)

The term P.O.W. is not even mentioned in the news because it does not apply to this situation. These men are not POW's; they are civilians. Fox news is not a military organization whose employees should be treated as captured soldiers. These men were taken by force for one of 2 reasons:
1. because they are not Middle Easterners or
2. because they report the news.
These men are the victims of a kidnapping. Your question demonstrates your lack of knowledge regarding the term P.O.W. and the world in general as this happened in Gaza. Your preconceived notion of their politics does not make them legit P.O.W.s deserving of capture.
Beware lest your politics get in the way of your humanity.
