I could easily cope without my mobile and I do wish in some ways they weren't invented. You wouldn't be able to get tracked down so easily and you would actually spend more time talking to your friends instead of texting! And there wouldn't be that awful "happy slapping" that goes on. People have become reliant on them like oxygen! It's very sad.

We used home phones, left messages and we waited but we didn't mind as that is all we knew. The fast lives we live has made a mobile more an essential tool for everyone nowadays. No one has the patience anymore.

I must admit, I would be lost without mine, but they are a double edged sword!

I have had a situation where without it, there could have been a major accident and possibly many injuries and even fatalities!
Too longer story to go into, but it was a God send!

Handy to check out what to buy for tea, while in the supermarket!
What size shirt collar? Asking friends if they are local and ready for a coffee. And best of all, when out with others, shopping or out somewhere, handy to track down, phone them on their mobiles and wave!

On the other hand, I find I am too available, for every single problem my friends and family and work can throw at me, I am instantly available, I know I need not answer, but hey that's real hard to do. Times when the damn thing goes off, when you are at the cash out, just walked into the library, dropped off to sleep somewhere nice and quiet, in the cinema, you name it!!!

Frightened to go out without it, in case something awful happens and they cant get hold of me, or I cant get hold of them!?!?!?

Like I say, double edged sword!

Indeed it will be quite difficult to cope without mobile phones ! We all are so used to it. But i am sure one day will come when we will have to do without. I think we human being are very very strong creature of the universe. We will survive without all these technical needs.

We would be just fine. It has really really helped us or me well enuff. Well enuff, my fone does not rule my life, absolutely not!! The easiest thing for me to do on my fone besides making and receiving calls is to turn it off!! No problem at alllll. My fone serves as my calender, music player, foto album etc. Well enuff, the fone can be split into 2 ie I can turn on the music player without the real fone getting involved....
I hail it as a good piece of technology ...

That's a good question. I think we would all be lost, wandering like zombies. I cant function when I leave my phone on my desk or when I forget it at home. I feel kinda naked without it. As soon as I realize that I don't have my phone on me, I don't care whats going on around me, I have to retrieve it. Quit asking such scary questions, its not funny! J.k.

We managed just fine. The technology today has made us lazy and dependent. Creator help us when the end time comes!
