The family of facts for 8 could be 7+1 = 8; 6+2=8, even 4X2=8. It depends on what operation they're studying at the time but it's the addition and multiplication numbers that give you that answer.

6+8=14, 8+6=14, 14-6=8, 14-8=6.
I understand it as a family or set (not a kid-friendly word) of equations or statements involving these 3 numbers. And kid, unlike complicated adults, will naturally ignore the nonsenses ones like 6 =/= 8, 6*8=/=14, etc. :)
ps: indicate your son's level help save people time.

I believe that you mean "Factors". But I'm guessing.
8 = 2 x 2 x 2 or 2 x 4
6 = 2 x 3
14 = 2 x 7
So, the factor associated with all the numbers above is '2'. If he is learning to multiply, that's probably the answer.

There are some issues you need to renowned with regards to the rumors of the "end of the international" or "Planet X" or "Nibiru" in 20121. The "2012 doomsday" is a hoax, a fraud, and a con activity. it relatively is a cruel and disgusting lie being promoted via rip-off artists after money; First they scare human beings to dying that some thing detrimental is going to happen, then submit books and video clips on "the thank you to stay on the apocalypse". Get the rip-off?! you're unlikely to fall for some thing like that… real? the subject is that some human beings will fall for the rip-off. some human beings will have self assurance it. some human beings will waste their money finding out to purchase pretend information on "the thank you to survive". they're going to purchase valueless survival kits or areas in shelters that are unlikely to be equipped - ever!.
