if everything was predestined, then why would we be here. just to prove predestination? if so to who? i do think everything happens for a reason though. if not, why would it be there then? there would be no point.

I do think that everything happens for a reason. There is not enough time for me to tell you why. Destiny and fate definitely rule us, God has a plan for each of us. Even if we do not understand why, some things are good and some things are bad, but they all happen for a reason. But I also believe that we can make our own destiny because when something happens, we also have a choice on how we respond to that event. Our response to that event can change the next path... this is way too exaggerated, but.. kind of like the movie Butterfly Effect.

Every thing does have a reason. Sometimes it's destiny. New tires are destined to wear out. Having a tire blow out on the highway isn't destiny. It's neglect or abuse.
I did once have the feeling that things that didn't make sense in the past were becoming clear and could be dealt with.
I found closure on things that I thought would never be resolved.
I don't like to get religious but I think that's how god works. He doesn't change your problems he changes your perspective.

Sounds as if you have come to the place in the road of life where you have finally recognized that no matter how much you learn and where you are in life, there is so much more to learn and so many more bridges and hills and valleys to cross. I am not sure I believe in destiny, because I fully believe that one can always change the course of their lives, turn things around, completely halt what they are doing and do something else.
But...having said that I also believe that we have always been in control of our life to a large extent even to the event that we chose this particular time and place to be born into.
I do believe, that people and events come into our lives for a reason, but that because there is too much noise from the outside world, we are unable to discern the reasons why, and that discerning those reason may not be accomplished because it is not the time for us to understand, BUT we will in the future, on another plan of existence or here, it does not matter...all will be revealed ....eternity is a long time.

I believe that there is a destiny behind everychoice u make. This is bcuz u hav the gift of free will and u cant be controlled by fate or destiny when u have free will. But there is a reason behind every choice u make. So I say yes.

Very good question , to be truthful i have been asking it myself but with no answer at all, I believe thug that nothing is without reason, but if it is like that, I am unable of changing it because I cannot change the reason , they say everything is decided before, but where is my roll of deciding.

You are typing this, but the type already knows that its likely you will type it... I think we have clear markers in our lives that are preset for us to go through but that the smaller points along the way are all ours to do well or screw up!
Glad you're feeling some good insight at the moment tho, plus the others around you, that is weird that there's a lot of you all feeling the same way, puts me in mind of some weird kind of cult. I don't like it when there's too much of a pattern, call me Stepford phobic!

It just so happens that just as your destiny is to put your finger on the keyboard, the keyboards destiny is for the buttons to type. You are not typing at all, it is all planed out.

I think it's both we make it happen and it turned into destiny, but I also think that if you don't choose the right path god will make it someway that you end up doing and being in the right place at the right time if you following his promptings.

You choose your words well. It's you, your making it happen. That's pretty cool that your clicking on to it too. That one word you've used seals the deal. Hope. If your there, change it to "will"; and keep choosing your words in that progression. Works like a charm! Absence of doubt, for all your days.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. I like your self-consciousness; being self-conscious makes people not very impulsive. I wish I were that self-conscious. I can tell you are a very deep person, possibly wise.
So, yes you are typing this.
