There are 2 ways.

You can soak them in water, then put them on. Leave them on your feet until they dry. The water will not hurt them and they will fit your feet perfectly.

This is the method rock climbers and hikers use, to stretch THEIR leather boots.

If you would prefer, take them to any shoe repair shop. They can stretch them for you. They charge you hardly nothing.

Good Luck!

Stretching New Leather Shoes

This might sound a little corny but it works. To brake in or stretch your new leather shoes, just put them on with wet socks around the house. They will stretch.

I would use a pair of shoe trees - which go inside the shoes and then can be made longer or shorter to fit the shoe. If you want to stretch the shoe, you want to make them longer. I believe you can buy shoe trees in most decent shoe stores, and they costs around $20.

Best thing to do is walk around with em on and then take em off and stretch them with ur hands. You can also stuff socks or something in them and leave em in over night.

put on thick socks and clean the house with them on (or some other activity that requires lots of walking around but keeps you close to a change of shoes for when they start to hurt).

Put on wet socks and walk around in them for like an hour or so and then let them dry. Repeat as many times as necessary.

Take it to a shoe repair guy (are they called cobblers anymore, or just in fairy tales...). There's one on every corner in NYC, and many women take their shoes there before wearing them.

walk around in them, do ankle bends or little squats, anything to get the leather moving.
