Roaccutan (isotretinoin) is used to treat cystic acne. It works be inhibiting the production of sebum (facial oil). It has some fairly potent and serious side effects of which I have listed only a few: dry lips, nosebleeds, headache, muscle ache, drowsiness, puffiness, itching, skin disorders, liver issues, thinning hair (which is permanent) and blindness. Due to the side effects and the potency of this drug, the use of it should never be taken lightly.
